Recession

Recession

Recession is the third and last part of the triptych Euphorie / Crise / Recession.
Audiovisual live performance

Recession continues the narrative arc of the two previous performances, leading us deeper into a post-apocalyptic landscape shaped by the collapse of civilization. Echoing the depletion of natural resources, species extinction, and the aftermath of global mass production, the piece unfolds as a haunting meditation on what remains.

Two performers activate this digital ruin in real time, manipulating a fragile scenography like broken-down puppeteers, suspended in tension—awaiting inevitable failure. Through live interaction, visual storytelling, and a sense of decaying control, Recession becomes a performance of collapse, where technology, body, and image unravel together.
